Did you know it's British Cider week? We don't talk much about cider on the channel, but it's a bit of a passion and side quest for me.
A few years ago, when I was researching for A Year in Beer, I was lucky enough to spend a few days with the wonderful folks of Little Pomona. It was during harvest, a busy but beautiful time of year when most of the day is spent driving around orchards checking up on trees to see when they will hit peak ripeness and need picking.
