The META is an illusion. It has always been a false psychological oasis for players and teams to conform to what is considered safe, to follow the status quo, that way if you happen to lose the picks are not to blame. The true magic of League is that you can actually play any combination of champions and strategies you want!

maaaan, been watchin worlds and these whippersnappin top laners barely even falling behind in laneswap meta... 😡 back in my day, LCS teams would just let their top laners (me) end laning phase 4 levels down with zero gold. Kids these days don't even know how good they have it 🥱
