My work with Popular Science has really become something special. I've spent the last few months on a project I'm more excited about than anything I've done in my 13+ years full-time on YouTube. I’d like to address the recent BetterHelp integrations on Vsauce2 videos. First, based on my own research and your feedback, I have severed the contract with BH, meaning you will no longer see BetterHelp ads on videos.
Secondly, I want to explain how the integrations came to be. I signed a multi-video contract a long time ago based on the understanding that they’d identified and fixed some of their problems. Obviously, new information came to light in the interim.

My Genie Wiley video was confirmed by human review today to be unsuitable for monetization due to "controversial issues" despite having zero objectionable visual content and all remotely "offensive" language censored. This story was literally fine for PBS (home of Sesame Street) but not YouTube.Vsauce2Post · 6 months ago
